When it comes to window tinting, we carry two popular options: ceramic and carbon. Both offer heat reduction benefits, but they achieve this in different ways and with varying degrees of effectiveness.
Carbon Tint
Material: Uses carbon particles embedded in the film.
Heat Rejection: Provides moderate heat rejection by absorbing a portion of the sun's infrared rays.
Other Benefits: Can offer a sleek, matte appearance and is most budget friendly.
Drawbacks: May not provide optimal heat reduction in extreme climates.
Ceramic Tint
Material: Utilizes non-metallic, ceramic particles.
Heat Rejection: Offers superior heat rejection by reflecting a significant portion of the sun's infrared rays.
Other Benefits: Excellent UV protection, and maintains clear visibility without a color tint.
Drawbacks: Generally more expensive than carbon tint.
